For App Store developers, on the Mac

Fair prices in every storefront.

Apple converts at the exchange rate, so $9.99 becomes about INR 954 in India before tax. StoreParity prices all 175 storefronts by what people there can afford, explains every price, and schedules the change in App Store Connect after an exact review.

One email when it's on the Mac App Store, with every plan at half price for the first 30 days.

The problem

Apple converts currencies. It doesn't localize prices.

Set a price in your base country and App Store Connect fills in the other 174 storefronts from exchange rates and taxes. After that, auto-renewable subscriptions are never adjusted. So one $9.99 lands very differently in India, Brazil or Türkiye.

How it works

From one price to 175 storefronts, in four steps.

  1. Connect your key

Choose the .p8 file and issuer ID of an App Store Connect API key. StoreParity checks it with a live read. Or try the sample first, no key needed.

  2. See every price

Your apps and products as cards, and every storefront's current and scheduled price beside your base price.

  3. Pick a reference

Income parity sets all 175 storefronts in one step. Subscription, Big Mac and Economy parity come with Pro. Or keep the exchange rate and add one percentage.

  4. Review, then schedule

Every changed storefront, the start date and what happens to existing subscribers. Then one action: Schedule 11 changes.

The review in StoreParity: 11 changes and 3 that need a look, a start date of Monday 19 October, the choice whether existing subscribers keep their price on increases, and each changed storefront with its old and new price.

Explained

Know why every price is what it is.

Open any storefront to read the reasoning in plain words: the reference level, any adjustment, the snap to Apple's price ladder, and what Apple's own conversion would charge.

  • Estimates say soA storefront without data is estimated from its region and labelled as an estimate.
  • Sources on every numberEach reference shows its publisher, series, date and license in the app.
  • Your call, storefront by storefrontTake any storefront out of the change to keep it exactly as it is.
The India sheet in StoreParity: INR 549 to INR 199, Income parity at 0.2085 times the US level, Apple's exchange rate price INR 849, and four plain-language reasons under Why this price.

Scheduling

Every price change is real. StoreParity treats it that way.

Apple has no test environment for prices. So nothing is sent until you've read the exact review, and every storefront is read back from App Store Connect once it's sent.

An exact review

Every changed storefront, the start date, and any pending change in App Store Connect that the new schedule would replace.

Existing subscribers

Choose whether they keep their price on increases. Each storefront says whether consent is expected, may be required, or cannot be determined.

Progress you can watch

Each storefront as it is sent, checked and verified. Pause, resume or cancel at any point.

Inside your quota

StoreParity stays within your key's hourly request allowance and tells you when there is room to start.

Verified receipts

When a job ends you get a receipt of what Apple accepted, read back from App Store Connect, with the prices it replaced.

When Apple says no

If Apple refuses a storefront, the reason sits beside that storefront with what to do next. Everything accepted stays scheduled.

A finished job in StoreParity: 10 of 11 storefronts verified, and Poland blocked because App Store Connect holds a pending change the review did not list, with the reason and the next step.

StoreParity says scheduled and verified, never live: Apple decides when a price takes effect in each storefront.

Four references, each with its publisher, series, date and license. Every release is signed with an Ed25519 key, and the app checks the signature before it trusts a single number.

Questions

What developers ask first.

Is my App Store Connect key safe?

Your key stays in the Keychain on your Mac. There's no StoreParity server and no account: every request goes from your Mac straight to Apple's App Store Connect API. You can revoke the key at any time in App Store Connect under Users and Access, Integrations.

Which key and role do I need?

A team API key with the App Manager role, or Admin, plus its issuer ID; an individual key works too. Apple lets you download the .p8 file once, so keep it somewhere safe. The support page walks through creating one.

What happens to my existing subscribers?

You choose, for every change, whether existing subscribers keep their price on increases. Decreases always reach existing subscribers. That's Apple's rule. For increases, StoreParity says per storefront whether consent is expected, may be required, or cannot be determined.

What is purchasing power parity pricing?

Pricing each country by what money buys there instead of by the exchange rate. If a household basket costs a fifth of the US price in India, a purchasing power price for India is roughly a fifth of your US price, rather than the same dollars converted.

The guide to App Store prices by country goes further.

Which reference should I use?

Income parity, from the World Bank's private consumption PPP, suits most apps and is free. Subscription parity follows what a leading streaming service charges, Big Mac parity follows everyday prices, and Economy parity follows income per person, softened. Each one shows its source and date.

Can I undo a price change?

A price that has taken effect can't be reversed in App Store Connect, only replaced by a new scheduled change. Before the start date you can schedule again. Every job leaves a receipt with the prices it replaced, so you always know what to put back.

Does it work with RevenueCat, Superwall or my own StoreKit code?

Yes. They all read prices from the App Store at purchase time, so nothing in your app or SDK setup changes. StoreParity only changes the prices in App Store Connect.

Does StoreParity support Google Play?

No. StoreParity is for the App Store only: subscriptions, in-app purchases and paid app prices in App Store Connect.

Is there an iPhone or iPad version?

Version 1.0 is for Mac. An iPhone and iPad version is in development, and one purchase will cover both.

How current is the data?

Every value carries its date. The current release uses World Bank data as of July 2026 and exchange rates of 14 September 2026, signed and bundled with the app. Storefronts without an observed value are estimated from their region and labelled as estimates.
